Creating a backup

If you lose your device or if it breaks down, you don't want to also lose all the files on your device as well. To make sure you can access your holiday photos, contacts, and WhatsApp conversations anytime, anywhere, you can choose to upload the data on your device to the cloud. Here, we explain how to create a backup with an Android device.

Restoring a backup to your device

Do you want to restore your backup after you reset your phone to the factory settings? Then turn on your phone and follow the steps to activate it. Choose a manual setup and enter your Google account. If you have a two-step verification, then you also need to enter the correct code. Once you have logged in, you can choose from which phone you want to restore all data and which data you want to install or not. All the data you saved will now be placed on your device.
