It all started in 2006, when Groningen students Jeroen Doorenbos and Jeroen Elkhuizen launched the online store Metjelaptoponline.nl from their student house. In November 2020 Belsimpel officially expands abroad with a new name: Gomibo. The expansion starts in Germany, with Gomibo.de. In the following months, Gomibo websites will follow in 15 other European countries, including France, Italy, and Ireland.
